Sales Administrator
Location: Peterborough
Joining an established coordination and administrative team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operational functions of our UK businesses. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service to key clients through effective office-based administration.
Collaborating closely with colleagues, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls and emails, handling all associated documentation, and overseeing general office administrative tasks. Your role will encompass end-to-end order processing, involving coordination with logistics partners to guarantee timely and efficient deliveries.
As the ideal candidate, you bring a wealth of experience in administration and possess strong customer service skills. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and follow-up of quotations
- Addressing incoming communications via email and phone
- Verifying stock availability for placed orders
- Generating purchase order numbers
- Efficient order entry and tracking
- Coordinating deliveries with logistics companies
- Monitoring both deliveries and collections
- Collaborating with credit control to manage customer accounts
- Generating returns and associated debit and credit notes
- Handling general ad hoc administrative tasks
